MPG??????? cheap and easy

Hey guys just picked up an 06 LBZ cc,sb, and absolutely love it. I am looking to buy somesort of tuner but i am up in the air as to which one to get. I want one that will basically just plug in and go. The truck is stock now and I plan on getting an exhaust sooner then later. What one would you use that will work fine with and without an exhaust. looking for a couple miles to the gallon if possible.
Thanks

I would do a PPE, and do the exhaust and that is where you will see the best mileage is doing both. Most likely a 2-3 mpg gain overall.

I am not sure for the 06-07, but the install is easier on that engine than the LMM. I know there are no egr plates made any more for the LLY/LBZ.

Go to kennedydiesel.com for an EGR blocker plate thats where I got mine...get the Fingerstick as well cos your gonna get the codes if you don't. The PPE or Quadzilla are among the best programmers on the market.

If you have the money to, go with a PPE hot+2... best tuner out IMO.

Yes about everything you do to the truck will. You could do a inline device such as Banks or edge. And a cat-back exhaust but with the cat intact you wont see the results, in perofrmance and mileage as with turbo-back.

I agree on the PPE, but the standard would be plenty. It has the same tunes as the first ones on the Hot + 2, it just doesn't have the big tunes on it. For the block off, since none of our vendors have it for a 06 try LBZ EGR Blocker Plate or http://kennedydiesel.com/categoryres...bCategory2=116. Without a exhaust and running a tuner i would not go over level 2 for daily driving or level 1 for towing.
