FASS DDRP on a LBZ Duramax

I was recently given a FASS DDRP and decided to put on my duramax. I was told I only needed to change out springs to lower to 10 psi. I went to install the DDRP and couldnt find the spring with the other installation accessories. I made the mistake and decided to install it anyway, until I could get the new spring. The fuel line measured at a constant 18psi. I recently found out that the higher pressure will damage my injection pump. I have only been running at a higher psi for about 100 miles and will be installing the new spring tomorrow. My question is, should I be worried that I have already done damage to my CP3 injection pump?

Your probably just fine. Someone trying to make you a dodge boy? Smoke tunes and a dodge lift pump, please don't drive with your mirrors pulled out and a "C" in the rear window.

I only put the DDRP on because my cousin gave it to me for free and it is pretty much the same as a D-max lift pump except for the spring. Saved me $350. I dont have much against the Cummins, it just the rest of the Truck I dont like.

The spring doesn't come with the kits. The spring is a PS-1016 and it is $3.00. Give us a call and we can get one on its way 636-433-5410.

Thanks ashley, I ordered the spring but lost it, just found it and installed it. I am measuring about 5 psi. I plan on stretching a the string and trying agan for 10 psi.

Try stretching the spring to see if it fixes the low pressure issue. We usually like to see 8-10 psi.
