Hey Mike, with those stacked you haven't had any problems from the allison? How do you like the ppe? I just got a transgo jr. kit put in, and running my diablo 120hp, and it's freakin dope. Wondering if it would be better to run ppe +2.

Wow thats a good question! The best answer I can see is what dmax500 said. They program them more for helping emmisions than for helping fuel mileage.

Makes you wonder huh

it doesn't help haveing our goverment in the oil industry and in that case it wouldn't be very profitable for them to have cars and trucks gain an extra 2mpg now would it..just a thought

Wow!

I installed the 85hp tune yesterday and it is awseome! I'm not going to be saving much fuel because it is so fun to drive now.

Does the DIC show a MGP above or below the actual or is it hard to say. I filled up yestareday and reset it and it is reading 20 until I get the happy right foot syndrom.... and then it works it's way back near 20.

NEW Question - Does anybody have any comments about running this in the winter?

I'll report my actual mileage back but it's getting cold up here so it is about to start dropping anyway.

After 2 tanks

I installed the predator set on the +85 hp tune and have put 2 tanks through.
1st tank: Actual Mileage 19.3; DIC Mileage 20.7
2nd tank: Actual Mileage 17.9; DIC Mileage 19.1 (Some towing & non driving work)

The 19.3MPG beats anything I have got on a tank. My second tank was reading 22MPG, so probably over 20 on a long trip before I started towing.

My truck has NO other performance mods so the predator alone seems to help the mileage by 1-2 MPG. I'll report more as I drive it - the power rocks but my transmission is confused because a lot of the time I am easy on it and then there are the times I want to have fun - it is havin a hard time learning.
