| LB7 Intercooler piping? If the LB7's intercooler piping flows better than the LBZ's. Would it it be better to buy the Banks kit for the LB7 and use there upgraded piping for the LB7? Or is there a alot of work to get the LB7 piping to fit on the LBZ?

| A while back someone mentioned that the LB7 had the best flowing intercooler piping. Then I noticed that Banks supplies new piping with there Kit for the LB7, but not for the LBZ. Was wondering if I were to buy the LB7 kit if it would fit on my LBZ? Maybe I am mistaken on the LB7 piping being better.

| What got me on the topic is that I am trying to find some parts for my Dad's LB7 that he uses to tow a 1250 gallon water tank, with chemical and fuel for our custom spraying business. We drive the truck daily in the spring and summer and put around 300 kms on a day towing the trailer. The truck seems low on power lately since the stealership did the warranty recall work, injectors, and cpu re tune. He doesn't want any huge power upgrades just lower egts and more boost, he is hoping the the cpu is cutting power from high egts (Dealership mechanic told him this). So he is thinking of doing a banks waste gate, PPe boost valve, Banks intercooler kit, and maybe some up pipes, and a 4" turbo back exhaust. He is worried about all the horror stories from the old tuners.

| AFE makes a 3" intercooler pipe for drivers side pre intercooler lbz's. lb7's intercooler tube pre turbo still necks down to 2.5" |
