what am i looking at doing after i get my efi live.. i no a built tranny but what else?? lift pump? what about a new intercooler? any sugestions would be great thanks

05_lly is efi live better than ppe hot+2? If so which unit do you get? I went to the efi site, and saw a couple different units, I am lost. Is it the v2 or something else?
yeah v2 is the newest version of efi. Im still using v1 but i will be upgrading soon. the ppe tunes are great tuns and are awesome tunes with huge power but with efi you make them to better suit your truck and your driving style!
well with the LBZ it isn't hard to hit 500 to 525rwhp and plenty over 1000tqr(unlike the LB7 or LLY)first off a stage IV Sun Coast along w/t 1057TC tranny and a good lift pump system from TS or Fass and theirs a few others,so with the EFILive like your getting 500hp/1000tqr isn't that hard and with that you should see high 12's at the track..the big tires will slow you down a little so you might have a hard time hittin in the 12's but i don't see why you couldn't run low 13's..
ps if you plan on doing boost 4X4 launches you'll want these to keep the tie rods from breaking Crankitupdiesel.com

well to hit 600rwhp you'll need a bigger turbo and head studs and other internal upgrades,after 550rwhp you'll spend some big $$$..

yeah thats what i thought.. i guess i coul dpull 550 with no internals or a new turbo.. but what i really want to do if go and find a wreck duramax and do all the good stuff to it.. make it my drag truck..

Anything over 500rwhp you are playing with fire on the stock rods, i pray everytime i jump on the throttle hard that i dont get the bang and the fire ball!!!!!! Pistons are also a issue with big power.
To get more than 500rwhp u will need a turbo and at least a modded cp3 pump or duel cp3's!
This is to 05_LLY! What is the advantages of the egr blocker and fprv shim? What would you recommend and where would you recommend gettin them? Also what lift pump would you recommend?
