i would recommend doing the shim kit but i personaly do the race valve in my own trucks..i have run like that on our LBZ since 50,000miles and the truck now has 156,000miles!

i do have another buddy that has a race fuel valve not in use he said 10 bucks for it now so should i just go ahead and get it if i plaan on upgrading anyways?? if not il just shim it since thats wat most of you do

Like mmlmm and hondarider550 said unless your having fueling issues then this is pointless for you to do . I have gotr alot of stuff done to my truck and don't have this mod race fuel valves are for the big leagues and you nor i are anywhere near needing the valve concentrate on other things like a lift pump ,tranny ,and so on

im not to the stage of needing but mines been in for over 3 years and no problems what so ever.. for 10 dollars id get it thats one less problem to worry about when u do get big mods.. my 2 cent

2006 lbz ive had ppe racevalve 4 2 years not anyore low fuelrailcodes no leaks just need a swivel end 17mm ratchet wrench
