YEp your dad's truck is an LBZ. IN the new body style is when the LMM came out. The LBZ is a stong motor. IT's got about 50 more hp than the LLY. They do run pretty good.

That is true. But that is where the similarity ends. The 06 LLY and 06 LBZ, are identical in every way, except for tuning, which is a mute point as soon as you hook up a tune.
