EGR Blocker & Finger stick?

Listening to everyone on this forum, it sounds like that if you do any kind of exhaust or intake mod that you will most likely need a finger stick. If this is correct, then if i buy the EGR bolcker plate and finger stick from Kennedy I should be ok with any exhaust or cai I buy in the future, as far as throwing codes. Right?

Yeah, if you buy the blocker plate and the finger stick you will be fine with any mods you do with exhaust. I believe the PPE programmers will do the same. Efi live will also take care of it.

I have exhaust and intake on mine and havent thrown any codes. So i would wait and see if you do and then get an egr and finger stick.

I believe if you block the egr then you will need the fingerstick anyways.

I have exhaust and air intake and programmer and I dont throw any codes either...But I am going to do the block off and fingerstick just to stop the EGR gasses from entering the motor!

The newer ppe tuners will keep from throwing codes if you block th egr without a fingerstick

The 06 LBZ has to have a fingerstick to block the codes. The LLYs will have the code but no light unless it is a cali emissions truck.

Some guys are getting away with putting exhaust on and not having any CEL's come on. Some trucks are little more picky than others. When you block the egr you have to add a fingerstick. The egr must also be functioning properly in order for the finger stick to work.
