The transgo kit is around 200 and a good t/c will range from 1100-1300, and then of course the labor to put it in or you could do it your self. You can do the transgo with out the t/c, it just depends on how much power u want. If you are going for big power then you need to consider a complete upgrade kit.

We have a complete bolt in valve body. It incorporates most of the shift kit plus we flat sand the halves of the vb. This is actually one of the biggest problems those transmissions have. They don't use a gasket so you end up with lots of cross leaks because the two sides aren't flat. That is one of the best things you can do for the transmission performance. Pair that up with a converter and it will hold what "most" people are looking for.

After talking to several dozen people, I am going to forget about EFI LIVE,way over my head! Leaning toward BS cold air kit,SILVER LINE exhaust,PPE programmer,and AUTOMETER gauges,and can get that for about $1550.00. Sound like a good combo to get some more power,and keep my warrenty?
