We'll put!

I am going to get a S&B. There is a website that tested one on a LBZ and it put a grip of horsepower and Torque down low where we usually drive, Here is the site of the independant test. Take a look and you do the math

Like he said,it's your money,,only need a CAI if ya making over 500 horse and if you do not do very dusty driving 15,000 miles or the filter indicator is fine,if GM would have wanted cold or ram air, they would have designed it in,not being rude but ever consider how much research and development GM put into the air box design, they make them to live long as a work truck, not saying it won't help perf or mileage but it IS safer for the turbo and the engine...

Those are some very impressive numbers, that is why I bought mine. (And the fact that they are cleanable) in my book you cant go wrong.

I need to purchase stock LBZ intakes. Since the aftermarket intakes are so much better, if you are selling yours I am interested.

I don't deal with people that do business that way.......

The factory filters are restrictive regardless of which filter it is, the 05 1/2' and newer LBZ's slightly less however. K&N has a drop in that works excellent!
im not one to try to tell someone that they are wrong, but i just wanted to say that the K&N does let oil past and it blows onto the MAF censor...i know this because i have the K&N filter on my LBZ, and ive had to clean the MAF censor a couple times dew to oil being blown onto it and minimizing peformance..and also throwing a code...other than that i like the K&N drop in filter, but will probebly by another stock ACDelco filter in the near future.

If a K&N filter has the correct amount of oil it will not blow through to the MAF. The only time it does is when an excessive amount of oil is applied. Even then we're talking a lot of oil.

We flowed over 1,000cfm through a properly oiled filter and not one drop? Even if the oil does make it to the sensor because of over oiling it doesn't hurt it like some claim. We submerged a MAF and ran it, it operated correctly.
