larger diameter cat to take care of ses light?

Has anyone tried installing a larger diameter catalytic converter to eliminate engine ses light problems created by turbo back exhaust systems? Seems to me that this would improove the flow of the exhaust, eliminate the service engine light problem, help hold the noise downs, and pollute less. Any opinions?

Well if you have ever looked inside a CAT there is a block of honeycomb substrate almost like ceramic. The exhaust pases through the honeycomb inside the cat. So your idea might work but Id have to say a smaller cat might actually be better because there will be less substrate for it to pass through. The CAT on your truck right now is pretty big (about the size of a basketball) and barely fits between crossmember and floor now.

When I removed my CAT it set the code only a few times so it really wont be that bad
