Chip and intake?

i have and 06 gmc 2500 and i was wondering about what kind of chip and intake is best to get the best fuel milage and most hp

PPE if you want plug and Play. EFI Live if you like to tinker and have the time to do some testing. Either one will put more power out than the stock tranny can handle. The stock alli is good for about 80-90 hp over stock. Don't forget to get a boost and pyro guage when running a tuner. The intake is not really needed until you get into the big HP

if i ger more then 80-90 over stock will i need a whole new tranny or are there upgrades i can get for it

Upgrades......but the cheapest you can go is about 1,800.00 in parts alone. A Suncoast upgrade ranges from 2,300.00 to 2,800.00 depending on the HP you are adding. The 2,300.00 will get you up to 500 and the 2,800.00 will get you 500+. ATS offers stuff to but not sure how much it costs. I personally will be upgrading sometime this year, but not sure when. Just sux that these trucks produce all this power, and without a tranny upgrade, you're screwed.

That's just parts. Depending on you local shops you can count on another 1000-1500 for labor.
