| MBRP turbo back vs MBRP cat-back I have a 06 duramax and I am looking to open the exhaust up because I have a PPE economy coming. I really dont want to get rid of the cat because I am scared of voiding my warranty and causing problems.
So my question is, how much of a difference will a cat-back make over stock? Am I just wasting my time? I was looking at the 5" system.. Let me know guys, thanks alot.
Also, running the PPE tuner, what else should I do to the truck, I am strictly just trying to get better fuel milegae because 12mpg isn't cutting it. Speed is no worry since I beat all my buddies modded cummins and powerstrokes...

| I would suggest an MBRP catback 4" aluminum system. Very affordable, easy to install, lowers your EGT's and will allow room for a few other add-ons while still giving you room to breathe. |

| The cat-back system will definately help. You can expect about 100 deg drop in EGTs as well as improved engine efficiency from the lowered backpressure. The good thing about it is, you can always delete the cat later if you want to by adding the MBRP front-pipe.

| It will only void your exhaust warranty. Shouldn't effect anything else.
BUT, some dealers will void a warranty if you change the tires!! god forbid you pay 50k+ for a vehicle and customize it !! |

| Which exhaust are you looking at? And were you going to go single or dual? I only ask because some brands are over-priced and I dont think anyone should waste their money on a name when another product uses the same materials. |

| Call your service manager and talk with him a bit about what he will allow and what he won't. My truck is getting some warranty work done now with everything that is listed in my sig.
