| Exhaust for 2006 LBZ I just bought a 2006 LBZ this weekend and I am looking to put a new exhaust on it. I am thinking of either a MBRP or just running a straight 4" or 5" exhaust. I plan on adding a cold air intake and probably the Diablo Predator. Any input would be appreciated.
Also, does the 06 come stock with a garret turbo? I was lookin around today and saw it and didnt know if they came that way.
Thanks |

| Yes stock Garret VVT turbo.
The MBRP is very popular and the predator has a good bang for the buck. |

| Hello and welcome to the forum!!
I put a 4 inch stainless turbo back on mine. Id definatly buy one again. The cat delete is the way to go. IMO its pointless to touch the exhaust unless you get rid of the cat. If you live where they salt the roads then you want stainless. Also the 5 inch wont be any different then the 4 unless your gonna be adding a ton of HP and racing or pulling the truck. Plus the 5 doesnt come in stainless yet. I also heard some bad stories with rust and fitment problems with the banks and magnaflow systems.

| DMAX1812- Sounds like you have a pretty good plan. I suggest sticking with a 4" system as it is more bang for the buck. 5" is overkill and does not offer any benefits over 4" except extra noise and larger appearance. For the intake I suggest looking at S&B. They offer the best combination of flow and filtration I have seen with a very low price. Their fit and finish is also second to none. The Predator is a great tuner and has several power options as well as additional features. Dont hesitate to give me a call if you have any questions.

Just Curious. Our exhaust systems are nice and we use 409 Stainless which will get a thin layer of surface rust but it wont attack the underneath. We offer a Lifetime Warranty. We back our systems 100%

| I live in nebraska and i have the 5 inch stainless from magnaflow. there is a bit of rust on the surface but no problems. Price of the system I got it for about $450 with free shiping. I would say you wont have problems with magnaflow.
