Smile What to buy next...

Hey everyone... I bought my 2007 Classic Duramax LT3 Feb 07. Since the purchase I have installed a MBRP Stainless 4 inch Cat-back exhaust. I just recently installed a PPE Xcellerator tuner running program 3 with the defuels, timing, etc etc enabled. I just craiglisted a lightly used banks power ram-air intake system for $200 and am ready to place an order for an MBRP front pipe and EGR blockoff valve.

But.... Now that the modification sickness has started....

What should I do next? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

are you wanting to add the front pipe to your exhaust, and do the egr block plate. i would say that would be good with your list of goodies already.

Shoot me a pm if i can help with anything.

Yes I am ordering the front pipe and egr block plate after work today. Not sure where to go next with mods. I would like to get up to PPE program 4 on my truck eventually. Not sure what all needs done before I make the move.

I'd start in the direction of tranny mods before too long. If you have a heavy foot with the PPE turned up, it'll put the hurt on your tranny in short order. There's plenty of people who can tell you lots more than me though!!

Start to save your money for a trans build. Get a Suncoast Stage IV. The kit is around 3000. I built my own trans but if you want some one to build it for you it is about 1500.

i would say one of your next moves would be a tranny upgrade and fuel sytem,i did a TTS tranny kit which costs like $350-$400 and a TCS Converter which was little over a $1000 plus install and thats good for roughly 600RWHP so far i haven't had any problems with the setup and i would do it again but if your just looking for something quick and cheap to handle 400-450HP do a Transgo JR Shift Kit from Transgo..lift pumps,i would do eirther a AirDog,Fass,TTS or Kennedy lift pumps to help with fuel delivery.

I would say start savin for the tranny and lift pump. The tranny is one of the more expensive pieces to upgrade, but defintely something to get out of the way if you plan on doing future upgrades.

What are you recommending as for drivetrain improvement without adding too much stress when using the Edge juice?
