yeah thats what i was thinking, id have to find a reputable shop around here as i dont know of any... i wouldnt hesitate to drive down to seattle area though? anyone know of any reputable guys from that area?

also, i have the LLY with the 5 speed, so if i were to put in a shift kit now will my tranny be brought back to be able to hold the edge on level three as if i hadnt limped it? or now that my clutches are glazed wil it still be weaker?

The only shift kit that will do the 5 speed any good requires the tranny to be pulled. If you are going that far you might as well do it right.

i dont have the money to go for a stage IV ATS or Suncoast right now unfortuanetly... but i think i would be able to squeeze out the TTS Tranny Upgrade, would that hold level 5 on the edge? and i would also need fuel lift pumps?

im not looking for a super horsepower machine, but something that is strong and durable, i use the truck as a daily driver and i tow a toy hauler when i go camping, (around 13000 lbs)

now that i have slipped the clutches, i might as well upgrade the tranny if im fixing it anyways. Thats why i say TTS tranny upgrade, because i dont run my truck hard, but its nice to have that extra insurance and from what ive read its a good upgrade as long as your not using it for to much power... ( i just dont have the money for a suncoast right now)

What do you think of the TTS upgrade for my purposes? would it hold edge on level 5? like i said im not always givin'r in my truck, only the odd time ill open'er up. And the reason i said lift pumps is so the truck isnt starving for fuel on the higher levels.

For me to be able to run level 5, is the tranny and lift pumps all i would need to upgrade? or is there other things as well?

The tts kit would work, but one thing to remember is that the tts kit does not come with new clutches. Since you have limped your tranny you will still need to buy a set of clutchs also.

yeah, what exactly does the TTS kit come with?

so i would be buying the TTS Kit, a torque converter ( i heard precision was good?), and new clutch packs... do you think i would need all new clutch packs after limping the tranny only once, or you never know tell you take it apart?

If it were me i would go ahead and replace them. Once you slip them it will glaze and never hold as much power. While the tranny is out and apart it is a prime time to replace them.
