mpg

im looking for better mpg along with some extra power im am about to buy afe stage 2 intake and a afe 4in turboback system any ideas on what programmers i should be looking into or anything else that could save me some money at the pump?

I can ony give you advice onthe PPE because that is all I have used! Personally I am extrealmy impressed with it! With 285's I was getting 16 highway and 13 around town. Now with the PPE im getting 20 highway and 16+ around town. I love it!

That's me too im running PPE on level two with 305/50/20 rubber and I went from about 14-16mpg to 18+ i'll know more after this week (first tank) and the power increase and drivability went way up!!! i would highly recommend it for mileage etc...

i'm with 4X4Fantasy on the HP limit with the stock tranny allthough the Allison will handle lots of HP for awhile but after some time it will give..

do you think if i put my triple dog on extreme every once in a while it will mess my tranny up?

whats uuppp, my name is coady, im only 17! this is what i drive daily:
04 black chevy dmax 6 inch lift
on 20 inch black kmc rockstars
4 inch afe turbo back no muffler,
to a high heat black powder coated 7 inch single stack,bully dog triple dog, afe stage 2 intake, limo tint all the way around. tinted windshield cant see in. two 15" subs in custom ported box, power capasitor, quantum audio 2000 watt amp.
two tone black and gray leather seatsall black and dark grey inside/
blacked out headlights/blacked out tail lights and third break light/ red neon light kit in the cab at night/ blue reverse lights..just added 4x4 fantasy sticker on window lol

with the big tires, i would be carefull with it on extreme. You should be ok though as long as you watch the WOT overdrive shifts.
