Performance questions

Not a complete newbie. Have worked on 165 HP diesels up to 7000 HP. Have a LBZ Duramax for over a year. Not sure what a cat back is, or a turbo back, or a de-fuel, or a limp mode and how will I know i have one? Would consider a programer only for better mpg not looking for more hp or tranny upgrades.
Understand EGT's, EGR's, boost etc. Looking for some info on these fine engines.
Thanks Richard

cat back is from the catalyitc converter back. turbo-back is really down-pipe back no exhaust come with the direct turbo pipe. Any programmer will help your mileage as long as you can drive senisble with the extra power. The allison can handle 90 over stock with out problems. The defuel is when it pulls the fuel out or stops fueling so the truck can shift and not hurt the trans, or atleast not as much.

If i can help with anymore questions, or you want some ideas whats availble i will be glad to help. Either post here or shoot me a pm.

Thanks TYler

it puts it in basicall safety mode and will not allow anything over a certain speed or gear, its a safe-guard so you dont cause more harm

Banks is top of the line, almost 90% of people on here will say return it but i would keep it. They put the most time into there tuning it is the safest products out. They create smoke free tunes so running the high power level with not cause more regen. Keep the banks unless wanting to do DPF delete.
