Turbos

What is everyone running for an aftermarket turbo? I'm looking into one but I do want a VVT and somewhat stock appearing. I'm thinking about a Cheetah but was wondering if there were any other options?

the Garrets are the most popular for turbos on the Demax's but i would look at the ATS turbos also..

Caleb i have an off the wall question,if i have PPE build me a BUILT stock turbo i would still qualify for the street stock truck classes wouldn't i?

Aggar do you do any truck pulls?

Not yet. I'm thinkin a 2.6 turbo. That's what street stock is isn't it? WS you have have a stock turbo.

Caleb I'm about 40 minutes from Brayden. I've got a stock LBZ turbo at home waiting to take a ride!

James yeah it would do street stock as well as work stock!

As for the Cheater type turbos, thy will give you more than enough power to break the engine, if your not stuck on havin a vvt i would go with a gt 40xx, egts will be a whole lot better and hopefully save your pistons!

thats what i wanted to know because in our area you have to have the stock turbo to run street or work stock classes but not stock injectors.
Aggar, just a warning but it doesn't take much to fry these LBZ pistons so be careful what size windmill you go with if you want that thing to last.
