MBRP vs. Magnaflow

I am looking into get exhaust for my 2007 LBZ and have been weighing the pros & cons of each of these systems. I had Magnaflow exhaust on my previous truck and loved it!!

Here is what I know I want:
Dual 4" T304 Cat-Back Exhaust
5" Tips must be welded on to exhaust (I hate bolt on tips!)

MBRP:
Pros: Deep Sound & Overall Product
Cons: Tips are not welded on

Magnaflow:
Pros: Welded on tips & Overall Product
Cons: Sound is not deep enough

My future plans are to install an Edge Juice w/ Attitude and remove the cat. My truck is a daily driver and I am trying to get better mpg. I am even considering running a single 5" exhaust.

What's your advice?

Get a Magnaflow. If you think MBRP is going to make your truck sound deep and mean....you're way off. No matter what exhaust you get, it will sound the same unless you delete the Cat and muffler. I would go with Magnaflow and the weld on tips. I had a MBRP system and was not really that impressed. My Banks has welded tips and I love them. Also a 5 inch exhaust will not give you any better anything unless you are making huge HP.

Magnaflow does not make a T304 system. All Magnaflows pipes are T409 stainless regardless of the series (Pro,XL,MAG). Also, you will not get much more sound out of a cat-back exhaust. In order to get a deeper tone, you will need to remove the catalytic converter. Let me know if you have any questions. We have both systems ready to ship with a low price guarantee.

i have dual 4" MBRP and have never had a problem with the Tips. Only problem i have had is a hanger broke off. I differently like the way the MBRP looks and the way the Banks systems look.
