| Down Pipe Performance?? I was looking at getting a down pipe for my 06' duramax and I was wondering if you see performance increases. Has anyone ever dyno a before and after installation? Will it help in fuel mileage? Is the turbo quicker to spool up? Is there a reduction in smoke under load? Thanks and sorry for all the questions. |

| Folks who have dynoed them have seen upper rpm gains in hp and tq and it carries the curve out further in the rpms with less drop after peek but were only talkin 10-15 hp here not much. the biggest gain you will se is in egt drop almost 150-200 under WOT runs or towing!

| I noticed a pretty good drop in egts, but i also installed the BD manifold at the same time. The two together dropped temps by around 250-300 degrees while racing.

| I noticed less lag with mine and a little faster turbo spool on top of the egt drop it's a good investment |

| No improvement here with the pipe install, The variable geometry turbo is still the biggest restriction causing poor milage @ crusing speeds on these trucks!

Not the exhaut peace thats after the down pipe and has the CAT in it?
I seen some referr to that as the downpipe
