What's the best PPE setting for mileage??

Just curious what are you guys getting for mileage on level two? (90hp) I'm tempted to drop down to the first setting and see if mine wont increase.

You will get the best MPG gain on the biggest tune with a light foot ofcourse. The more timing of the big tunes helps milage the best, but keeping out of the throttle with the big tune in can be hard!!!!

level 4 on most duramax's gets the best fuel economy and that was my experience on my LBZ,with the stock tranny do not run it hard on level 4 or you will limp the trans its a matter of time.for a safe tune but not recommend for towing is level 3 but watch your WOT in the higher gears.

dieselfan, those 305 tires are whats killing your mileage. go back to 265's or stock 245's and you'll probably get 2-3 mpg's back.

gr8shot, I totally agree the oversized rubber is killing me. Looks pretty good though.

I agree the tires are probably killing your mileage but they look too good to take off. I am running my truck on level 5 with the hot xcelerator and I am seeing the best mpg increase. If you do this, like everybody else said, watch the throttle and the trans and you might see some decent increase in mpg.
