Fuel Mileage tunes

It seems EFI live and PPE are two of the most recognized tuners for Duramaxes. I have PPE hot +2 now and got 14.4 mpg towing a 7000 lb boat 920 miles last week on level 2. I was wondering if there are tunes on EFI that would give me more mpg with the good power? I'm debating on whether or not to get rid of my PPE and purchase EFI. I would not be tuning my own truck until I convince myself that I know enough to do so.

I seriously doubt you would get much better mileage than you are getting, but wouldn't it be fun to try?

Most of the time if you use EFI and adjust you tune correctly, You will normally see a 2 or 3 mile per gallon increase in fuel economy, as log as you can keep your foot out of it.

Thanks guys...Sounds like I might as well just keep my PPE unless I want to have fun and make my own tunes...I would like to get the best fuel economy possible and it sounds as if what I'm getting is about what others might expect or even better with EFI.

I hand calculated my last 920 mile trip...I've never really hand calculated city driving while not towing.
