Which power level for best mileage? Edge

Ok guys- first chance at a road trip in my lbz tomorrow and I would like to know where any of you guys get your best m ileage from- I usually run my Edge on level 3 but thought about level 4 for my trip? About 300 miles one way, 75 mph on cruise almost all the way. I would love some replies from anyone running an Edge or something similar. Thanks- Jason

If you can keep your foot out of it, the higher the better. If you dont trust yourself, stay at 3.

Just crank it all the way up, and you will enjoy the best mileage, it makes the truck do less work to get going, and easier going down the road.

The higher settings are great for long road trips because the truck is building more power much more efficiently. But if you do city driving or just can't keep your foot off the floor, then you need to run a low setting. The D-max loves fuel in stop/go traffic with the tuner turned up!

I travel every weekend with mine. I found that #3 is about the best. I do highway and intown driving on the same trip every weekend. I have got as high as 21.4 mpg and as low as 18 mpg. It depends on traffic and how many times you can't resist the feeling of POWER! I stay away from the higher settings only because Edge suggests it except for short periods of time. Some of the guys, I see, do go higher and may be on to something. A higher setting used moderately may be OK, but I don't have that experience. I wouldn't doubt what they say, since they have done it. I have not made any modifications to the tranny and don't want to put it in limp mode. Besides, I can't imagine getting any better than 21.4. That trip was considerably moderate driving and hard to do.
