Yeah, i really don't know about the testing in texas. We're not doing any testing right now in KY but we might start anytime. I kept my cat in storage for that very reason.

That is true for the LLYs, but some of the LBZs even the FE9 emissions will illuminate the SES light for the code. It mostly depends on the conditons that causes the code. My cousins truck will set the code and no light when daily driving, but when he runs it hard like at the race track it will set the light off.
