| first off the Edge does tend to run hotter then most tuners out there.next for a short distance i ran my LBZ to 1500-1700* on a regular basis with the highest ever at 1850* but only for short runs roughly a 1/8 mile or so but when towing or pulling a hill i don't run above 1300-1350*..
if you want to lower EGT's without spending to much do the water/meth kit,i did that on my LBZ and lowerd my EGT's roughly 250-300*.
the thing with adding extra HP is there are other upgrades you have to do to run the added HP to its full potential, for instance if you run the hot unlock level on the Edge you realy wont be much faster then on level 3-4 since you need a tranny kit and lift pumps with that much added HP but you can run that level but it has its effects.
