IMO I would find a turbo shop or take it to a dealer and have it looked at. Or contact ATS diesel and see if they can help you http://www.atsdiesel.com/ats_new/

Before you go spending money on this, return your intake to stock. Make sure the MAF is clean.

EGT complaints? What is high to you?

33 psi? Stock boost is around 20.

with a turbo contoller you can run up to 40 llb of boost on the lbz. i would recommend going that high but 35 is pretty safe.

you might have a melted MAP sensor, but could be other things also. You need to log it with EFILive. Take that edge off, and get a real tuner.

lol thanks guys i appreciate all the suggestions.newest theory...is it posiible the engine computer has already been hopped up with a handheld removable tuner and now the edge is "stacked" with that program?oh and a crappy MAP would throw a dtc for sure right?wait i checked the MAF mass air flow sensor in the intake tube when i put on the k&n last week, whats a MAP?

MAP-manifold absolute pressure.

On your truck, I think it is located near the grid heater, post CAC, pre-plenum. Do not confuse with MAF. However it would be good to compare your MAF value with your MAP/rpm values.

MAP sensor failure is not usually a complete failure, however the liklihood that yours is bad is still remote. It can happen on seriously overboosted vehicles, the higher heat damages them.

If you had an inadvertent stack, yes that would explain it also. Sounds like you need EFILive to ascertain the status of your PCM.
