Question Changed fuel filter and the check engine light came on

I just changed my fuel filter and when I started the truck the check engine came on. This has never happened before. Has this happened to anybody and if it has what was it? The only thing I did different this time is I used a Wix Fuel filter instead of a AC Delco. This is the first time I use Wix fuel filter, I always use AC Delco fuel filters. So I dont know if it has to do with the different brand and fit. Thanks for your help.

Some are going to tell you it's probably the WIX filter, highly doubtful. Run by AutoZone and have the code read and post back.....

You might have got some air in the lines. Try driving it a few miles and see if it goes away.

I got it scanned and it gave me Code P6078 twice. Does have anything to do with the fuel filter replacement? Thanks again for your help.
