Got 2 very similar trucks:
Mine is 06 GMC SLT CCSB 4wd
Nephew's is 06 Chevy LT CCSB 4wd
mine runs 180 on the head. (interstate no load empty)
his runs 210 (interstate no load empty)
Get off the interstate and idle....his goes to 180.
Get off the interstate and idle....mine stays at 180.
His truck up until about a week ago held 180 all the time.
Going to pull his thermostats and see if that makes a difference first. If not, will chase down a heat gun to see if there really is a diff in temp and not just normal gage differential.
Any other obvious things to check? Performance on both trucks seems equal.
