2007 Classic LBZ.
Check light came on, wouldn't go above 2 grand. Scanned, P0090 code, cleared it and drove it with the scanner plugged in, pressure was between 4000psi idle and 20000 psi pegged.
Cleared code, changed fuel filter, drove for about 50 miles, code came back.
Started cold this a.m., clattered like a cummins at idle after it warmed up the clatter went away a bit.

I've searched the forum and have a few ideas but would welcome more.

I had that code once, The Yellow wire broke right at the Fuel Pressure Regulator plug.

2006 Chevy LT3 CCSB 2500HD LBZ/Allison
AirDog 100, Nicktane CAT filter head, Billet bleed screw, Blocked EGR, Bilstein, AAM alum. diff cover, Michelin M/S2.

1985 Chevy C20 Suburban with a '04 5.3L/4L60E
K&N intake tube w/ stock box, Built trans, Michelin A/S.

which side of the block is the sensor on? Staring at the motor from the front bumper.
Thanks for the info, I'll check wires if I can figure out which is what...

The FPR is located on the CP3 injection pump. I was going after the FPR solenoid when I found the broken wire, Still replaced the FPR solenoid & FPR connector.

figured it out

Turns out it was the yellow (ground wire) a couple of connections away from the FPC. Insulation looked fine but the wire had resistence, which it should've have, located the short and fixed it. Fingers crossed that it was just the yellow wire.
