07 lbz fuel return line leaking

As both fuel lines run down the drivers side frame along with the wiring harness the smaller line is leaking where the lines bend and go up toward the motor. My question is what size is this line and can I just use a couple unions and a piece of brake line to fix or a piece of rubber hose and a couple hose clamps? What would u guys do? Thanks for
Your help, Lawrence

I would cut t and splice in a compression fitting. A rubber line would probably be just fine, as its a return line. It should be 3/8 line

Mine started leaking a couple moths back. I replaced it, motor to cooler, with 3/8" barricade hose (rubber sae30r14)
