Superchips

It was a super chip or super tuner, super something. It was one that I guess gets loaded into the trucks computer. He uninstalled the program and now the light is on.Didnt know if we could unhook the battery to reset the light.

that might fix it but im guessing the light is on for a reason...do you still have access to the tuner? if not you will need one of these....

Autonostics :: OBD II Car Checkers :: OBD II CODE READER & RESET TOOL

walmart also has something similar for around 80 bucks...that autonostic is just the best deal i could find and it works great

You can just drive the truck to an auto parts store. Most of them have code readers that will get you the code, and also let you clear it. Some of them will clear it, and some won't. Here for example, Autozone's reader won't clear the codes, but O'rilley's will clear them. But thats your best bet, and it's free as well!!

x2...didnt know they would clear them...my local advanced and autozone wont..but its not a bad investment for 25 bucks to get that scan tool...and it works on everything obd-2 so your friends can use it to.

either way goodluck

Just like gr8shot said take it to autozone and they can read the code for free. I did this once when I couldnt find my V2.

or you can drive in reverse until you get to where the problem originally occurred and then at that point do something different :tease

J/K, go to vatozone and have it checked and cleared. They'll do it if you just ask nice.
