U will gain almost unnoticeable sound change on a dpf back exhaust.

With my 4" down pipe back straight pipe it it not much louder than stock unless I get on it.

I would spend the money else wear, save up for tuner or efi live for when warranty is out.

Sorry meant down pipe back 4 in exhaust. These trucks are not naturally loud, with the vvt Turbo, it makes em pretty quiet.

It has a decent rumble, but overall noise from exhaust when driving or idling is not much louder. Wheni get on it it does have a good roar

The DPF trucks sound about the same with a DPF back system. When I put my full system on I actually started it up after unbolting the muffler and rear pipe (left the DPF in with nothing after it) and the only difference I heard was a little resonance but not any louder

I have a DOS Magnaflow on my 09. Didn't change sound hardly at all. But I got it for one hell of a deal and I really only got it to get rid of the ugly stock tailpipe. Definitely would not purchase if had to pay full price for one, not worth it.

Mine is the same as CJ's, got it to get rid of the dumb ass bugle tipped tailpipe. Did notice a power difference but that could be because the previous owner beat the crap out of the exhaust to get a 35" spare under the back . I bought the Banks DPF back for $300. Worth every penny.
