LMM DPF Delete

Those of you that delete the DPF; Do you put it back on when you have to smog your truck, and retune for stock? And then delete the DPF again and install your tune and have fun until the smog test is due again? Or are most of you in areas that do not require smog tests?

I am in a county that does not require exhaust testing. The next county over, where Boise is located does. I know a couple Dodge/Ford guys that throw it on for test and take it off to sit in the garage for another 12 months.

One more question guys: If I were to either gut the inside of the dpf or delete it and disguise the straight pipe so that I can fool the smog dude, will the truck actually pass the test without it?
