Methanol/Water Injection

Has anyone ever tried methanol/water injection? They claim to lower EGT's by 250 degrees while adding 70+ horsepower. I was curious if there are any drawbacks to this system...it seems like it could potentially cause injectior problems.

I never seen a decrease in EGT's with my kit with a 50/50 mix, plain water did lower them while towing. I seen a 16RWHP increase on the dyno. I dont think meth injection could cause any injector problems

Meth Injection is good stuff, i don't have dyno numbers but @ 75% water it deff does lower egts by 250, the closer you get to 50/50 the egts stay the same as w/o it. MPGs are also better on highway, while cruising.

We have had good look with the water meth kits. We use Labonte and have been very happy with the results.

I read through the article in maxxTORQUE, but there was no contact information or place to order, etc.

So, I'm kind of left wondering "what next?"

Who to contact?

Labonte kits for sure. MPF or alligator can help you with them.

If referring to I-FOG, they begin shipping next week.
