09 fuel filter change!!

well i need to change my fuel filter. i cant seem to get to it from the top. maybe im stupid. seems the only way is through the finder well.. i hate to take the finder well off everytime, but will if its the only way.. how do u guys with 09 change yours? help

If you are going to be changing your own fuel filters i would highly suggest an LMM fuel filter access door. Makes changing them alot easier! All it is is black molded plastic that goes into the hole that you will cut in the inner fenderwell. The cover looks almost factory and is alot easier to take on and off then the whole inner fenderwell

i believe i have seen them, and over looked them thinking ,oh i can do it from the top.. well looks like im ordering one.. thanks badass.....

Yeah, I'm looking to cut mine open....fab a cover with a leftover mud flap lying around. Who thought up the goofy dip stick routing? You pretty much have to have a step ladder to lean over the front and check the oil. They should of left it like the LBZ, so you could take it out the top side.

i bot kit on ebay and came with WIF wrench and new bleeder screw, makes it easy now

I do all of them threw the fender well. Its only 3 7mm screws and 5 push through retainers. Then you can get to it no problem. No cutting.
