Best Intake System for our LBZ's

Hey Guys,

Question: im trying to hint my wife to get me cold air intake for my LBZ that will not break the Bank account. Any suggestions ?

looks like these are my options ...

Had the airaid on my lbz. Never had a problem with the oiled filter.

i defiantly recommend the S&B over the other brand IMO. never once had a complaint or problem!

The BEST intake for your lbz is the STOCK INTAKE AND FILTER. I could try and sell you whatever... but the stock intake and filter is great. Filters better than anything available on the aftermarket, holds WAY more dirt than anything else available, and it is actually a cold air intake, unlike mode aftermarket intakes which are actually hot air intakes.

Spend the $300 on an exhaust, cheap lift pump, transgo Jr + install, front end upgrades, etc. All are more important and will yield much better results and give you more benefit than an intake will on any 06+ dmax until you're making enough power to necessitate a built tranny.

Im running a Turbo back 4" exhaust and a superchip flashpaq hopefully I can at least yeild 1-2 more MPG with it ...
