Question/help

So the riser broke on my uppipe so i pulled it to cut it off and weld it shut in process the bolt broke off that bolts the downpipe to the uppipe on the bracket that tacked to uppipe does anyone know where you can get that bracket or can i go without bolting the downpipe to anything?

That bracket didn't line up on mine so I just left it out, been like that for bout 2 years now and hasn't hurt anything

Did you bolt the riser plate down?

Yeah but it still cracked but its all good now

welded shut so no more worries

Was you running a egr cap on yours when it broke?

Yeah had riser cap but it broke at the flex part on the riser so i pulled it off and cut riser off and welded it shut

Ok, I have the same thing as of now but have a lb7 up pipe on stand by.

My 2 cents but i say go ahead and change it if you have the time before it breaks and you get all that soot under the hood in the engine compartment but that just my opinion some may say leave it alone till it breaks but thats what i thought but now i wish i would have just done it that way in the first place had to tear it all back apart anyway and now have a mess under the hood to clean

I had intentions of doing it but couldn't get the mbrp down pipe out and got irritated.
