Yeah i know cause egrs and dpfs didnt come on a diesel until after 2008. Is obama giving epa more power yes but as i stated he isnt to blame for this cause youve had an egr since 2003 and dpfs since 2007.

If you have a true race application, emissions deletes will still be available. If you don't have a race application and your truck hasn't been tuned, this may impact you.

If you have a tuned truck you don't have to worry. EFI Live isn't changing tables, they're just removing your ability to see the tables.

That will be up to your tuner, but I don't anticipate this will be an issue. You have a tune already that is deleted, so modifying a few tables for compounds or a built trans isn't theoretically that big of a deal. The removed tables have nothing to do with that.

For all your tuner knows, your truck came with an emissions delete tune from GM due to ship location, emissions issues, etc... For example, some LML trucks exist out there that have factory emissions delete tunes due to issues GM had with the DEF system initially.

in reality, blame CARB, the california air resourse board. they are the ones dictating to the EPA what the emission laws should be. it is california that first is forcing the issue about DPF and will be soon dictating about the DEF, also known as the SCR engines. obama has nothing to do with the epa, but carb is telling them what the rest of the country should do on EPA matters.
right now they are targeting the class 8 trucks real hard, but pick up trucks and vans are next on the list.
if carb had their way we would all be driving electric vehicles or vehicles that run on CNG or LNG. watch for those prices to start to rise soon to.

The EPA probably would not have been a bad thing if it would not have gone to the extremist level. The EPA has been on the verge of going fanatical for awhile. Even before the idiots that we have in office now. Yes it is true that we had emissions equipment before Obama like erg and dpf, but after Obama got into office things have become a lot worse. It does not take a genius to see that he does support the EPA. Even if he is not directly to blame for what they do he has none the less had his part in this.
