Turbo Gaskets

Should I replace the exhaust gaskets on my up pipes to turbo connection when I install my 4094? Or can i just reuse the factory ones, I ask bc the machining on new turbo mating surface has got to be a little diffrent than stock.

The machining should be no different from one to the next. Machined faces have to adhere to very strict tolerances in the machining industry and if they don't, they are rejected. These are measured in parts per million. The amount of rejects are usually in the 1-2 PPM. If you got a bad one you are just one unlucky SOB. With all that said, yeah it could happen.

FWIW...Lets just slap that baby on today…screw waiting for the tech. I wanna go finish off your Mud Terrains.

Went ahead and bought the steel gaskets, 17 bucks for both of them. They don't look reuseable to me, they look like a crush washer. Tearing it apart saturday, ic pipes, turbo, uppipes, down pipe, intake manifolds, valve covers, etc...
