i didnt like the mega cab, due to work, the quad cab was too small in the back, the chevy is a very nice layout on a truck, lots of power from the Duramax, if it got any mileage at all, i would highly recommend one.Nothing against the Chevy guys on here they are lots of help, I would have bought a dodge. Just my .02 cents. Love the Chevy, Not to crazy about the Duramax.

the only valid numbers for mpg are highway. I could drive to work one day at 4a.m. and come home at 2p.m. and hit light to no trafic and get 16mpg with a comute time of 20min and could drive the same route the next day at 7a.m. and 5p.m. and get 10mpg and take 50min. there are way to many variables involved in any stop and go driving to compare mpg. but highway you go a steady speed for a long period of time getting a more comparable number. I am getting 18mpg at 65mph and 15.2mpg at 75mph empty

it is real hard to drive 55 out here the speed limit is 75 and people average 85. When I tow at 70 even the truckers give me the finger. but on the bright side I seem to have gained another 1mpg. 07LMM how many miles do you have on the clock now?

...My best so far with the Edge and intake on an all highway road-trip through the mountains was 24.9 mpg on a 1900 mile road trip. It was me and a buddy with a bunch of shit in the back of the truck, I wasn't towing anything. That's hand calculated because the Edge throws the monitor out slightly. In the city, again hand calculated, I'm seeing 17.2 - 17.99 with normal driving and 16.2 driving hard and throttling it. Truck now has 7800 miles on it. My WORST mileage is from before the mods and road-trip and it was 13.04 mpg around the city. I'm neglecting the first few fill-ups as that was really quite pitiful and pretty much always < 12.

Typically driving about 10-15 miles over the speed limits, and 70 - 75 mph is my avg hwy speed. I don't know about you guys but I'm liking the mileage. I haven't really babied it during the break-in, I'm sure it's probably not even broke-in yet...maybe that has made some small difference.

I just put a 4" Rancho lift on with 20 inch wheels and Toyo Open Country A/T's (33 inch) so I'll see how that affects it. I'm about to take it out for another long highway trip this weekend, I'll let you guys know how that works out with the new wheels/lift.

Really makes you wonder if they are telling the truth! Mine would not get 20 mpg empty going down hill ! If the programmers, downloaders or whatever they want to call them, if they really IMPROVE your mileage by 3 mpg like LOTS of people claim,I wish that they would send me one and let me try it, if it works, I will buy it!!!!!!!!!!! I just cant understand how you can add that much power , and gain 3MPG PLUS!! O well, if any vendor wants to send me, please feel free to do so,if it works like lots of them claim,I WOULD LOVE IT! Anyway,to answer your question, it really makes one wonder if they are telling the truth, or they don't know how to divide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
