09 hd 2500 4x4 get 18 at 75mph..hand and computer calculated,, It's not off much when figured it.. was 20 though a week ago b4 putting on new tires and cranking the bars...
2005 HD2500 stock...even the tires. Getting 13 to 13.5 towing my boat (6500 lbs) without the boat I get over 20 mpg and my best was 23 mpg (Highway miles)....all hand calculated with the speed towing at 60 to 65 mph. I've just changed all fluids to synthetic, so hopefully will see an increase....I check mileage on every tank, and so far very pleased with my purchase of this truck.

just took a trip from Stanwood to Seattle w/ a 6000lb boat and trailer combo, a 23ft campion cabin cruiser. tires all aired up, cruising around 65 and pulled 12.5 avg. hand calculated, showed 12 on the dash comp. have to say, this is the first time i've towed anything worth writing home about, and if anyone knows about downtown seattle, the tow/haul feature on the allison is freakin awesome! the slip tongue on the trailer did little to slow it down, but the automatic downshifting made it like driving unloaded. go chevy!

Just got done with a trip to Rockford for the Holiday. About 415 mi, avg 19.3 on the DIC and 19.2 hand calculated. Included mainly Highway (66mph) and some hard City Driving and a REGEN....
On the Interstate at 66mph DIC was saying 22.9 mpg. Its usually been right on for me +/- .2 or so. Darn regen takes a lot out of the mpg.
Empty bed, towing nothing. 10,000 MI on truck.

We just returned from an extended weekend towing our 29' Travel Trailer that weighs about 9000 lbs. We traveled about 200 miles and traveled some freeway, but mostly hills and we got a hand calculated 11.79 mpg.

Oh ya, driven downtown Seattle a few times. You bet, love the t/h feature. Buddy has a '03 Cummins manual. Shifting constantly, even with a bed camper his brakes were chattering/fading when warmed up!
I'll get from 11-14 towing about 8,500 lbs. I'm always stopping at scales to get a good feel of weights. Damn, when I'm in the wifes Malibu with the family I still stop at the scales to check, if no truckers are there.............................. That was off topic!
