Has anyone ever tried methanol/water injection? They claim to lower EGT's by 250 degrees while adding 70+ horsepower. I was curious if there are any drawbacks to this system...it seems like it could potentially cause injectior problems.

I never seen a decrease in EGT's with my kit with a 50/50 mix, plain water did lower them while towing. I seen a 16RWHP increase on the dyno. I dont think meth injection could cause any injector problems

Meth Injection is good stuff, i don't have dyno numbers but @ 75% water it deff does lower egts by 250, the closer you get to 50/50 the egts stay the same as w/o it. MPGs are also better on highway, while cruising.
