What problems did they claim you would run into? If you do get an 07 do a DPF delete and a programmer such as Quad S2, PPE, or if you want to go all out EFI Live it just depends on what you are wanting out of your truck.

By the way welcome to the forum.

I appreciate it man! One of my buddies had a bully dog program on his and it started just shutting the truck off and all that, idk but most of it could have been just ppl thinkin they know all about the new trucks, lol. I will mostly be hauling my race car to the track, im planning on getting a 20ft enclosed trailer as well. I want to get exhaust and intake and programmers for some nice power.

Yeah Bully Dog is crap with our Dmax's. If your doing some hauling and just want some good power for a good price just like you said intake and exhaust and do a Quad they are priced right and maybe put a EGT gauge in to keep an eye on your temps while hauling.

EFILive is what you want for serious power. It's not for everyone though. Check out the EFI section here and read the Sticky at the top.

I read it but i still dont really see anything about how user friendly it is? will adding more HP and TQ be hard on any part on the truck? even if its just tunes and bolt ons?
