Did my Jr a few months ago and love it,wish I would have done it sooner. It's a must have!!! I got mine from a vendor on the site for about 85 dollars.

I've rebuilt 2 allison's before, so I guess this mod would take about 2-3hrs? My big question is does anyone know exactly how much more power this kit allows the tranny to take? Im all for it and already sold, but does this mean I can run a higher HP tune reliably?

I would err on the conservative side and figure maybe 20hp more. It does help hold additional power, but it also helps it hold the power for longer before you see any problems.
But then again, there are guys closing in on 13.00 in the 1/4 on just the stock 6 speed and TG jr, so take that for what it's worth. I also saw a post on another forum of a guy putting down 514rwhp with just a converter and TG jr done to the tranny. Although it wasn't said how long that tune had been ran for or anything like that.
How much should I expect to pay for the installation??
if I take it to a transmission shop??

I think this will be my first mod to my truck.
I put a shift kit in a TH350 in a new Blazer along time ago...truck only had 400 miles on it when I did it. Neighbor who noticed I had bought a new one...walked up to see it and was spell-bound to see me under it with the valve body laying on a piece of cardboard on the ground. I told him I was making it 'better'.
Now I need to see if they make the kit for my Topkick which the build sheet says is an Allison 2350 6-sp?

The JR kit is a exceptional value and instant performance. The deep pan will ass extra oil, but no real benefit. the hotter the oil and more if it, the longer to cool back off... its a glass half full debate.
I know plenty of trucks over 500HP with the "stock" pan, and they are doing just fine.
We can help with both... let me know. We have a great deal going on the JR kits right now...

you should learn how a transgo is actually installed and how an allison works before you go around selling them with no tech support.
