Exhaust manifolds and down pipe on the LMM

I need some info on exhaust manifold and down pipe for the LMM. Is the driver side the manifold choked up bad enough it is worthwhile to change? How about the turbo to exhaust pipe, havnt seen much talk about that. It looks like a real pain to change but bolting the 4" exhaust system to 3.5" turbo pipe seems like a opportunity for HP and MPG also.

The manifold is nice because it not only evens out the exhaust flow on both sides of the motor, but it's already drilled and tapped for an EGT probe as well.

Neither will make a huge noticeable increase, but both will give you slightly lower EGT's, and will work great in combination with a full exhaust system. We carry both, and can get you either or both if you'd like. Let me know if I can get you prices on either!

Some say the manifold and/or the down pipe aren't needed unless running a bunch of power mods. I will be running both because I like the theory of letting the motor breathe and both products look like they are well designed to do just that. Even if it is just a little improvement I feel it's worth it. Besides, I like gadgets and stuff!

Here is a thread going on a new down pipe from MBRP
new MBRP downpipe!!!

the easier the engine can breathe then the easier it can produce power in other words it will be more efficient

The direct down-pipe really helps your egt come down faster. Here is a pic below so you can compare. The down-pipe is 3".

What is the Diamond Eye down pipe made of? I've searched their site and others but can't seem to find what material it's made of. Stainless or aluminized steel?
