new and need some advice...

my buddy just bought a chevy c4500 single cab and chassie....hes wanting some more fuel mileage wat programmer or tune would u suggest he dont wnat alot of power just more mileage....all ur imput would be much appreciated ooo ya and its a 2009

well i would say keep his dpf on...but im not 100%sure....whats best for keeping it on mileage wise....like how many extra u think he will get....and then takin the dpf off wat tuner and waht kind of mileage?

Leaving the DPF on, you will see a 1-2 mpg gain max, removing it, the mileage increase incredibly. It would be more like a 3-4 mpg gain. These are hand calcualted numbers on my truck.

I would go with a PPE standard if keeping the DPF, and if you want to remove it, you could use a Quadzilla S2 or PPE hot+2 race. Last I checked the Evo Race doesn't work with cab and chassis trucks.
