seeing as they tore the whole thing apart did they reprime the fuel system? by the sound of this shop they might do something dumb like that +1 on taking off the edges specially if theyre stacked dont the evo and juice both have monitors? you probably have your computer confused as hell man
I think we should try and help a new member, not send him away with jokes and insults.
Take the edge off and tell us what codes the ecm is setting for starters? It won't even crank(turn over) or it won't start?

It's impossible to accurately help him... It sounds like they practically tore the whole motor apart and upgraded everthing... It could be one of a million problems.

I agree. Check and see if the fuel system is primed. What type of lift pump do you have on your truck. You might wan't to make sure it is working correctly.

im sorry if i came off like i was joking rob? idk if your talking to me but i was being 100% serious about the fuel system and removing the edge i hope this guy tries some of what everyones saying and gives us some results? it seems to be a baddddd truck from how its described!
yes it could be a million problems guys but Idaho Rob is right the guy needs help. it shouldn't matter that he is a "newbie" hell i am considered one as this is my first post but i have built hot rods all my life.. As everyone knows you have to start somewhere... and all of us were newbies at one point in our lives.
lets forget for a moment that all this wrok has been done.. the truck needs electrical and fuel to run.. this is my first diesel but the generalities are hte same.. lets start by gettign some answers to some questions and go from there.. at this point i don't care what go fast parts you have..
Does the truck turn over??
Does it try to start??
i would do as Rob suggested and take all the electronic crap you have on it OFF.. start from factory connections with a factory tune... even with all the crap on it and mods it should still at least start even if it's fat as hell... once you get it running DON"T DRIVE IT.. take it to a competent shop that these guys recommend... RUN don't walk from the dumbasses that are working on your truck... i used to own a Performance shop here in Dallas and have seen all kinds of basket cases and i have NEVER not been able to get a car going...
you have to start from scratch and even if the truck doesnt start with all the factory connections... EFI Live will give you all the codes to fix the shorts, bad sensors etc that will help get it going again.. you have to do this stuff in steps rather than throwing money and parts at a vehicle.
Yeah No $h!t!!! Stop The Noob Bashin Already, Guy Is In A Bind...

Ok guy's where do i start, and for starters no i ain't made outta money, like one guy asked, and 2. I have prolly drooped bout 20,000 in this truck in just mods, i collected an inheritance if anyone wants to know how i got the money, but anyways i have pulled the edges off completely and retuned it with the EFI LIVE, which was the orginal tune on the truck and it does the same thing, i have the air dog 150 fuel pump and it works and there is pressure at the fuel rails up on the motor, it turns over and trys to crank, but it wont start, it has fire and it spins over like a top, i honeslty think it is sumtin stupid and simple that they are over looking. but i dont know and when i get it back friday, the following monday i am more and likely gonna trailer it to DIESEL INNOVATIONS in north houston, but like they told me they mainly deal with powerstrokes, but he says they have figured things out and fixed duramax's before. I hope i have answered everyones questions and comments if not sry, just repost it. thanks
