I didn't find info I wanted in search - My wife and I will be towing several times next summer, trips of 5-6 hours, a few longer. I'm looking at a Banks Monster exhaust set up (NO DPF DELETE since I'm not ready to dump the warranty) because the only thing I can find to not like about my new '09 CC Dually is the ugly exhaust megaphone. I know better than to expect some big performance or mileage increase. My concern is the exhaust tone in the cab at Interstate speeds - I don't want to hear an annoying drone for 6 hours at a stretch, nor do I want to hear ABOUT it...! Anyone with experience with these systems on an LMM care to comment?
you can run a 5" turbo back and not have the annoying drone as long as you have a muffler on there. if you staight pipe it youll be able to hear it.

there are other ones out there for better prices. You probably wont see any change in mileage as long as you have the DPF on there. You are just basically changing the tip then. You can do a DPF delete and then keep the DPF for warranty work.

I have the Banks Monster Exhaust on my 2007.5 Lmm with the DPF back, it deletes the muffler and is no louder than stock. The cool cuff design is suppose to be the coolest during the regin period over other brands. I like the design and quality, plus it did give me a noticable boost in power, I would recomend it highly.
