In my opinion, with no experience other than comparing my ruck to DMaxs with whichever programmer, the two best are PPE and EFI. Nothin bad about the others, but if your going for lots of power, PPE and obviously EFI are the top. EFI can be tuned for 1000+hp or for better mileage, plus is adjustable, from my understanding, with a DSP2 or DSP5 switch.

EFI Live if you know how to tune. PPE if you want to plug and play. If you want the downloader and the gauges in one go with a PMT from Bullydog.

PPE is great, EFI live even better Idaho Rob is a vendor here on the site and he does EFI live tuning. The major difference is that EFI can be custom tailored to how you drive the truck and what you use it for.

I am thinking about the efi. Is it user friendly? Do you have to know alot about tuning to be able to use it? Becouse I know absolutely nothing about it.

There is a learning curve with EFI. I supply a free tune of your choice with the purchase of EFI. At this time you'll need a laptop to load tunes into your truck. I get you up a running on the basics of how to load, copy, and download tunes after purchase.

There is no switchable tunes, using efi, yet out for the LMM.

PPE is a good product and has setting on the tuner for all your needs.

Edge is also a decent option.

PM me for pricing on all of the above,

PPE is the best IMO if you want something quick and easy but EFILive is the ultimate.

Rolling Big Power Programmer??

I have an LMM and again the common ? is which is the best programmer. I am days away from ordering exhaust, intake & programmer. I'm locked in with AFE stage II for intake, I like the looks of the RBP exhaust, and now I am stuck with programmer choice. Has anyone tried the RBP programmer? It's this or the PPE Excellerator I think. My truck is a weekend toy but I want simple not something too radical. Thanks guys.
